The training will be delivered by Steve Emery, the director of Fire Heritage Consultancy, and will consider the impact of fire upon built heritage as well as means to prevent it. Specific topics will include an overview of fires in historic buildings, firefighting within cathedrals, churches and roofs, fire doors, in addition to legislation and guidance. The branch AGM will be held after lunch for IHBC Members and there will be an optional guided tour of the interior of the Cathedral following the training.

Members: £45 Non-members: £55
Students: £35 in addition to 5 x £15 tickets for student/apprentice/early career if notified by 3rd September
