Keep But With Updated Colours...
Our Proposals:
We are keen to register and reincorporate/reinterpret the graded or
layered colours so characteristic of the facade.
The application of colour to needs to have a connection to
material and organisational role.
There are many theories:
A registration of, and colour coding of the streets in the sky and
the disposition of the units behind.
Anti smog device (to ‘even’ out the effects of pollution).
A lack of the same colour brick to complete the work.
We want to register the composition of units and the grouping of
the Rows as Streets In The Sky.
The final resolution of the Banding / Colours will undoubtably be
subject to Planning Condition. Before seeking discharge we want
to construct a series of mock-ups to test the facade in full detail.
