Annual School IntroductionDemonstrating that conservation of the built heritage is at the heart of current thinking concerning sustainable communities development is the theme of the 2006 Annual School .
Plymouth is undergoing significant changes as part of the 'Peace Dividend' and consequently the Royal Navy releasing some of the historic dockyards. In addition the City Council are looking to the future for the planned post war city centre. Therefore Plymouth provides a wide range of sites and examples for regeneration underway or proposed many of them within walking distance of the University, which is also next to the city centre. |
