The only
substantial
timber-framed
building surviving
in Cumbria.
Of one build but with
two different roof
constructions . This
elevation has deeper
bays and has raking
queen post trusses.
The bay on the extreme
right with narrower
bays has crown post
trusses.
Brick tiles and weather-
boarding hide the
braced framing.
