Whilst we all acknowledge the importance of protecting and managing historic buildings, what about the bits in between? The appreciation and understanding of spaces and settings that provide the context for historic structures is vital to the proper management of the historic environment.
The 2008 Annual School to be based in Guildford, Surrey, will examine the management of spaces, context and settings.
CPD Provision: CPD is compulsory for Full Members of the IHBC, with 50 hours required over a rolling 2 year period. Subject to programming, and to individual needs, the Annual School can provide approximately 17 hours of recognised CPD, and the Day School 5 hours.
The
2008 Annual School is being organised for IHBC by
IHBC Enterprises.
