Now a charity, archive and heritage venue, it was built between 1869-72 on behalf of the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers. Ideally located just a short 3 minute walk from Newcastle train station, it serves as a fitting setting for exploring this year’s theme of Adaptive Reuse. Delegates will also get to visit the Exhibitors Hub during the day, with adequate time for networking and opportunities for even more CPD as part of the programme. Stands can be found in the Map Room and Stephenson Room during refreshment breaks and lunch between the hours of 8:30 and 17:30.
