• Sets out the vision with the primary policies and proposals for meeting that vision;

• MUST be DPD;

• Key document in LDF;

• Must be listed in LDS;

• Should be one of the earliest LDD’s;

• May use key diagram to indicate broad location of strategic development etc.;

• Must be kept up to date.
