widely spaced dwelling patterns and a more fragmented
urban form.

The individual dwelling rather than the community has
taken on greater prominence as the focus of an
individuals life.
•
Wider spacing of dwellings has resulted in far less well
defined urban spaces.

Variation between dwellings has increased and the
cohesion of the group has diminished.
