Impact of POW funding – Andrew Derrick looked at 11 POWs with facilities and 9 without:

• 13 reported higher congregations – not necessarily related to facilities – more likely heating!

• Grant aiding repair alone does not lead to wider community use

• Support for new facilities works where it meets a clear need and where structures are in place to manage and promote them

• 6/19 have poor maintenance

• Modest changes make a difference
