At Lathams, we offer expertise and attention to detail, combining architecture, planning, conservation, regeneration, and urban design skills, all under one roof.
Lathams has a reputation for creating outstanding environments, built through our work on hundreds of successful and award-winning projects across three decades. We can work on any, or all aspects of your design project, however big or small, from masterplanning, feasibility and concept design, to detailed design and construction information through to completion.
At Lathams, we have worked on a huge range of historic buildings, from Grade I listed castles to simple Victorian barn conversions. We’re passionate about preserving, restoring, repairing and reusing existing buildings, always maintaining their dignity and spirit while introducing modern and contemporary features which complement the heritage of the site.
Our practice does not have one particular building style; we always work in context, creating distinctive places where people want to be.
We include here three project examples showing the breadth of our conservation skills that include: Architectural design and building conservation in a historic context, Conservation planning for Listed buildings, as well as Historical research and historic area assessments.
