The University of East Anglia was founded in 1960, as part of the founding group of research intensive ‘1994 Group’ Universities (CAR Ltd. 2006:pvi). The University campus is spread over 360 acres of parkland, two miles outside of the city of Norwich (Barr, I et al . 2011:p3) and comprises of a variety of listed buildings and modern additions by notable architects including Norman Foster, Ted Cullinan and Rick Mather.
