The aim is to provide a one-stop shop for anyone seeking specialist conservation services. Clients benefit from the knowledge that they are using a practice that protects its service standard through a lead professional working in line with the IHBC’s expectations. Local authorities, amenity groups and conservation bodies are encouraged to refer enquiries to HESPR companies. The list below provides brief details of the companies and practices currently recognised under the scheme. To qualify for recognition, a company’s service standards and operations must be endorsed by an employee who is a full member of the IHBC. That person, who is called the Designated Service Advisor (column 2), provides the quality assurance required by IHBC and acts as the formal link between the company, its operations and the institute.
