The School will explore how we can develop our understanding of how cultural change has influenced development in the past and the contribution that it makes to the significance of heritage assets. Is there a requirement for heritage conservation to maintain and enhance this cultural change within the built environment, while also allowing for continuous shaping of place? And to what extent can the conservation of heritage assets contribute towards creating sustainable and successful places in which to live?
