Holland Heritage delivers expert heritage advice to public, private and third sector clients. We can offer sustainable solutions for historic buildings and can provide advice on how to achieve the necessary consents and funding. Holland Heritage has expertise in building conservation, regeneration, cultural heritage, curation of historic collections and interoperation. Technical reports written include Conservation Plans, Statements of Significance, Options Appraisals and Conservation Area Appraisals. We can also provide support to local authorities and mentor community groups.

Name of project: Museum of Cider 
Project Location:
Hereford                              
Client: Thackeray Group
Type of project: Conservation Management Plan (2022) re the Museum building and its collections, both on display and in store, to inform the Trust’s strategic planning. The Museum is housed within the former Bulmer’s Cider Works begun in 1889 and retains the extensive champagne cellars. The collections interpreting the cultural heritage of cider-making throughout the country include machinery, ceramics, glass, works of art and an extensive paper archive

Name of Project: Former Howell’s Department Store
Project location:
Cardiff                             
Client: Worked as a member of staff of the Princes Regeneration Trust
Type of Project: Adaptive reuse of this Grade II* listed former department store in the city centre. The building is a complex mix of periods from the late 19th century to the late 20th century and includes an exceptional Beaux-Arts block built by Percy Thomas in 1931. The scheme was informed first by a Statement of Significance in 2019 and then by a Heritage Impact Statement in 2022.

Name of Project: Former Cardigan Hospital
Project Location:
Cardigan
Client: Wales and West Housing Association
Type of Project: Adaptive reuse of this redundant, hospital containing, at its core, a listed villa by John Nash. The scheme to create offices and affordable accommodation for local people was informed by a Heritage Impact Statement in 2021.
